When we walk through times of trauma and stress emotions can get trapped in our bodies when we don't deal with them properly. This can cause us to get stuck in fight or flight responses resulting in anxiety.
God never intended for us to stay stuck in anxiety. The more we can talk about our feelings, journal situations we have been through, and take steps to heal from past trauma, the more freedom we will experience in our lives.
Prayer
Pray this over yourself:
Dear God,
Please help me to calm my thoughts. Help me to be aware of the negativity and shift the anxiety Into gratitude. Show me areas that still need healing in my life so that I may become my true authentic self.
In Jesus name, Amen!
